With a very nice family from US - visiting Sicily for only one day - we paddled the Taormina coastline. Lots of caves, small bays with gravel beaches, crystal clear waters, stacks and a great view of Mt. Etna volcano. The tormented limestone cliffs have created in this place a perfect rock garden for sea kayakers and sometimes (with new moon and southerly winds) there is even a small tidal race...
